Félice van Zijl joined BexerHamstra as a consultant in April of 2021. Before that, she worked for thirteen years in various HR roles with accounting and consulting firm EY, where her last job was project manager Learning & Development. She studied Public Administration at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Before I joined BexerHamstra I worked as HR project manager for EY, a global company with several hundred thousands of employees worldwide. I had mostly internal clients there. Now that I’ve made the step to become a consultant, I can observe how other company’s operate, who are all different. I get to know different cultures, meet people on all levels. It gives me so much energy. Sometimes I talk with two hundred employees, for instance when remuneration packages must be harmonized after a merger.
So I’m used to dealing with all kinds of stakeholders. And I like working with different people. I believe in open communication. I listen carefully what clients want, try to discuss matters openly. First I need a feel for the organization and its people. Then I can decide how best to approach a project.’
